Michigan Activity Pass

The Michigan Activity Pass is presented by The Library Network. The program will run for a full year, from May 24, 2015 through May 23, 2016. This project is supported in part by the Library of Michigan with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.  The Michigan Activity Pass program is a partnership between Michigan’s nearly 400 public libraries and hundreds of arts and cultural organizations. The program is designed to enhance the learning experience for people of all ages through books and other library materials, and to provide reduced cost or complimentary access to arts and cultural organizations across the state of Michigan, from St. Joseph to Saline to Saginaw to Sault Ste. Marie to South Range, and all points in betweenLibrary patrons can reserve and print their pass using a valid library card.Some cultural partners offer complimentary or reduced price admission; others, discounts in their gift shop or other exclusive offers for MAP pass holders only. Each Michigan Activity Pass expires one week from the date it is printed. MI Big Green Gym

Once again, library patrons are able to check out a pass for admission to state parks, state forest trails, and state recreation areas. The MI Big Green Gym aims to promote an overall well-being and a healthy lifestyle through the use of parks. To print out a pass, visit the Michigan Activity Pass website, enter your library card number and choose the park to print your pass.

Tickets & More: Detroit Zoo

We are pleased to announce that The Library Network has entered into a new partnership with the Detroit Zoo on a program called Tickets & More. Through the TLN Tickets & More program, library patrons can purchase discounted admission tickets to the Detoit Zoo, save on discounted memberships, and dining. You can even purchase a pre-paid parking voucher.
