Adopt an Author
Due to declining property tax values and reductions in state aid, the Library's budget is shrinking. Despite this, the Library is busier than ever! We will do our best to remain the best educational and entertainment value in town. Would you like to help?! If you are an avid reader, consider participating in our new Adopt an Author program.
Here's how it works: let the Library know which author(s) you would like to adopt. Each time your adoptee publishes a new book, the Library will ask you for $30. For your donation, we'll make you the first one in line to get the book as well as grace it with a book plate acknowledging your contribution. This program will help us keep more copies of best sellers on the shelf for everyone to enjoy. Thank you to all potential "parents"!
