- Mango Languages
Through our website you can access Mango Languages. This is a learning database that will help with your English. You may use this database at our Library or at home on your own computer. It contains the following ESL languages: Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, Arabic, Italian, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Greek, German, Portugese, Polish, Russian.
- ELLIS Program
See and hear English in real life situations using the ELLIS program (English Language Learning Instruction System) here at our Library. ELLIS uses headphones and computer disks to help you practice and improve your English skills. On the computer you will see a variety of films and hear people talk in English. With the help of your headphones, you begin to practice speaking the English you hear on the computer. Contact Karin or inquire at the Information Desk to set up an appointment for training.

Listen to CDs
Learn English by using CDs that use both English and your own language (example of a title: English for Spanish Speakers) Each CD contains several lessons.
Read Along Books
You can check out a CD kit: this is a book and CD that tells you a story. There are 7 different levels in these CD kits so that you can start at a Beginner Level and work up to an advanced Level 6. These are very good for improving your vocabulary and comprehension skills.
Read Books
The Library has books on English grammar, dictionaries and work books. Many of these are located in the ESL Collection and they will help you to learn English.
